247. Write about a mess you've cleaned up.
Bloody hell, look at him. He's gotta be in his mid-twenties, but he's still firmly stuck in rebellious angry teenager mode. A rebellious angry teenager who's gonna blow up the city I've been callin' home for the past few years, unless I can teach him how ta control this ability.
Floppy hair an' floppy clothes, an' cartoon-huge eyes -- and enough power ta destroy the city if he loses control. Why on earth did I go after him? Why didn't I just leave him to his own problems and get my arse outta there when I could?
Somehow I've fallen for those pouty lips an' that crooked mouth, that lithe body, and oh bloody hell that little hitch in his breath when I shoved him against the wall... Bugger all, how'm I gonna fix his mess before all hell breaks loose?
He's learning to fight, can regenerate from a thirty-story fall, an' he's finally startin' to think when he uses his powers... Maybe -- just maybe this might work.
