Nanao pulled her hair back into a lose tail at the nape of her neck, then stuffed her feet into a pair of ragged tennies, then headed to the kitchen to grab a large covered plate. On her way out the door, she picked up the book she was currently reading and tucked it into the front pocket of her jeans, then retrieved her old cd player and closed the door behind her.
As quietly as possible, she climbed the stairs and made a beeline for apartment 21, carefully setting the plate down. She'd doled out three large slices of fresh chocolate cake for Hayate, Genma and Miss Kurenai in the hopes that they'd like them. Since her hands were full, she gently kicked the bottom of the door, hoping she wasn't being loud enough to disturb anyone.
