There were alot of things plaguing my mind today.
So somewhere in my jumbled up schedule i found some peace and quiet and pen and paper.
And I jotted a few things.
I thought I'd run it all by you though. Just to see what the masses(overstatement)think.
Homecoming week, as most of you know, was last week. And i don't know about you, but it's so much fun when it's that time of the year again for homecoming, but this time around you happen to be a senior. Not only did '07 have the best costumes for twin day, the best float for the parade, and the best football team, but we also had the most spirit. And what better way to end an already amazing week(what with the parade, the carnival, being a pumped fan in a crowd at the football game) than the dance.
I'll admit it: I had the time of my life dancing it up(or attempting to dance it up) with the group I went with this year. Best group to go to homecoming with, by the way. Also danced with some other individuals. Also attempted to learn salsa dancing, but my teacher got fed up with me after 2 minutes of failure on my part and walked off. Also saw some indivuals who I wanted to share a dance or two with. Here's a case story about one of those individuals:
I laid eyes on her halfway through the dance. The song "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic At The Disco was playing, one of the only non-rap/hip-hop songs that was played all night. She was one of the only ones dancing in a crowd of people who had no idea how to dance to a song by the likes of Panic At The Disco. And she wasn't just dancing, she was tearing it up. And she wasn't just dancing really well, she was looking so hot in that white dress. Scratch that, she was just hot, like Rachel McAdams hot.
So you know how I am approaching girls. I don't. But i did dance a little closer.
Only to find out she was taken by some guy who I recognized.
Great. So I did what was right. Gave up.
But low and behold, today was photography club. Well first day for me, as I found out about it late in the year, 3 or 4 meetings in, but i figured I'd catch up at today's meeting. And I'm glad I went. Guess who else's first day it was. The gorgeous brunette who looks amazing in a white dress and knows how to dance. All by herself. With no photography classes/experience.
Oh well. I guess I should stop chasing already-taken beauties around campus and stick with what I've got: A group of girl friends who just wanna be "friends".
Mannn, I'm so whipped.
