Tiptoes came into out lives one wet night about 14 years ago, he was wailing on the flat roof of the house next door. I got him down and he took to crying on out window ledge. I didn't want another cat.

Eventually he moved in, hiding behind the sofa and the boiler and a million other places. He turned out to belong the neighbours, and his decision to live with us caused some problems ( well a lot of problems) Every time we took him hme he would escape through some door or window.

He was cheeky, he was the one who would creep across the dining table and try to steal your food and as recently as 9 months ago he took the remains of a lamb shank off my plate and ran away and hid with it behind the sofa so i couldn't claim it back.

After Last nights hopeful news from the vet, Tiptoes stopped breathing in the night, and the vet wasn't able to resuscitate him.

He will be cremated and we will plant a tree over his ashes in a sunny part of the garden.

thank you all
