Sax-a-ma-phone
i had my saxophone jury today. for those of you who are not music majors at the University of Toeledo, a jury is when the music major plays his/her intsrument for the music deparment faculty. kinda scary. it's the equivelent to a final for a regular class. i did o.k. on my prepared solos, but i totally screwed up on my scales. they knew they had picked one that i didn't know yet though, and let me do a different one. so i'm not sure if the one i screwed up on counts or not. i sure hope not, b/c i totally screwed it. o-well, transferring schools in 3 days. :)
i feel kinda sick. i took a really long nap, and i didn't wanna wake up. but me and my roomie took a walk to toxic hell and i still don't fell very awake. i really wanna study some for this music theory final tomorrow though. so i'm going to stay up a lil bit more. i really don't think i need to study too much though b/c cramming is pointless and i have been studying lil by lil each day in class, so i should be good. i just need to go over scale degrees, tetra chords, counterpoint, and voice leading. not bad. :)
it's almost time for my after work phone call from Jared. he should be calling me anytime now. or maybe i'm supposed to call him? i don't remember b/c when i talked to him earlier i was 1/2 asleep. opps.
me and Todd went down the railroad traks today to look for Lauren's packet knife. i was pissed b/c i couldn't find the damned thing and i went ALL the way down there, in the cold! it was freezing, and sleeting. it has been hailing/sleeting all day here. but not really snowing, it's just getting icy all over the place. kinda sucks when your walking up the bridge at parks tower b/c it's at an incline.
i'm not sure of what else to talk about right now. i'm in a an icky mood, and i just wanna go to bed. lol
