A cold and friendless tide has found you/ Don't let the stormy darkness pull you down/ I'll paint a ray of hope around you.

Leave my wings behind me/ Drink my worries down the drain/ And fly away to somewhere new.

Kara stumbles out of Joe’s, jostling between the wall and someone who pushes back just enough for all the tension and rotgut and heartbreak to come bubbling to the surface. Kara straightens up, fists ready to fly ( ... )

You fill up me senses like a night in a forest/ Like the mountains in springtime, like a walk in the rain/ Like a storm in the desert, like a sleepy blue ocean/ You fill up my senses come fill me again.

Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
No matter what I say or do I'll still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone.

You hold me without touch.
You keep me without chains.
I never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love and not feel your rain.

You won't admit you love me, and so
how am I ever to know?
You only tell me: perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

If you can't make your mind up
we'll never get started.
And I don't wanna wind up
being parted, broken-hearted.

So if you really love me, say yes.
But if you don't, dear, confess.
And please don't tell me: perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
