Hmm, let's see.. News that has really occurred since.. you know, whenever the fuck I last seriously updated this bloody thing.
The new apartment is a pretty nice place, even if it does go somewhat against my want for laziness. It's about a 40 minute walk from city-centre, which was not a happy thing for me the past few weeks when I was sick with both the flu and that tonsil infection at the same time. Still, it's decent exercise, and actually has me pretty close to the gym area, so pretty easy to make it to the night practices.
Other than the location, the apartment itself is rather funny, in a few different ways. One would be that I don't have a door handle, but that's a more.. uh.. personal improvement. This can be read as "I accidentally ripped the door handle off while getting into my room one time." Okay, well that and the toilet seat coming off in my hand the first day I was there. Seriously folks, if you ever feel a bit weak, come over to my apartment. You'll feel like the Incredible Hulk in about 10 minutes.
Anyway, other than my subconscious attempts to dismantle the building one step at a time, the apartment is pretty fun. Roommates consist of two other Americans, a Russian and a guy from Malaysia. I'd like to think that we keep the apartment surprisingly clean for five guys living there, have plenty of DVD's to watch between Roman's(the Russian) collection and mine. Plus it's rather amusing when you can wake up at any hour, decide to maybe make some food and watch a DVD, and one of the others is doing the same damn thing.
The internet is a bit odd at the apartment, they have a firewall from hell set up. Of course, that just means that while any pop-up, website, and virus is let through, the AIM program can't operate since they lock all but like.. 2 ports. Oh well, I can still play my super-awesome amazing java games!
Oh yeah, apparently 9 year-old Starcraft won't work on 1 1/2 year old laptop, because the laptop runs the CD constantly until it overheats and locks up. Now that's some smart engineering right there, huh?
Anyway, enough typing for me, I've got about 20 minutes before class, and I feel more like drawing or something instead.
