Hello everyone! I hope you are having an amazing week end so far! As for me, things are going rather well. I moved house and I've been quite busy packing and unpacking everything, but, luckly, now everything is done and I am finally settled. I haven't had much time to play sims and, moreover, it was so hot that the idea of dealing with an even hotter laptop made me cringe, so I mostly only messed around in PS doing random hair retextures of old and not-so-hold hair meshes I like. I hope I will be able to properly play the game, though, because I really want to see what will happen in the Bruttoni household. Anyway. On a different note. If you follow/check my simblr, you probably already know that I was a little conflicted about the new Store world, Sunlit Tides. At first, I didn't care at all about it, because I am not really into tropical themed worlds, but then seeing how beautiful it looked in everyone's game made me change my mind. So I gave in, and I downloaded it. Are you ready for some spam?
I decided to start with the Swift household, because I really like Kaila Swift. She is gorgeous. I admit I tweaked her a bit, because EA facial structures are definitely too cartoony, even for me, but I basically only resized her eyes.
Kaila's housemate, Caroline the Cowplant. She enjoys baking cakes. And biscuits, but mostly cakes.
I decided to challenge myself a little, so I tried to keep the original athmosphere of the house and, besides adding some decorations and moving the furniture a little, I only recoloured the objects. Now Kaila's house reminds me of Spongebob's. Which is fine, for me, especially since I just can't stand the tropical resort atmosphere that most of the houses in this world seem to have.
The bedroom remained almost unaltered. I only added a big window (because, seriously, living in a such tropical paradise and not seeing it when you're laying on your bed?), some lights and decos.
And now... Scenery pictures!
And you can also download a
.psd of the editing I used for this batch of pictures, if you want. Nothing particularly fancy, just some gradient layers and colour adjustement. But I felt like sharing. :D
I hope you enjoy!
