the last 10 or so days have been absolutely insane. i should say the past 2 weeks, because i spent some time in NYC before heading to the holy land (jews!)
the trip was incredible. i have to say it was no less than profoundly life-changing. there is so much reflection to do... ahh. i'll get to that in another entry.
but from now on it's my goal to be a way better jew. culturally, religiously, and in who i surround myself with. time to start going to more JSU / hillel meetings!
also I've been wearing a kippah (yarmulke, skullcap, you know) all day. i love it... its kickass
the kids i went on Birthright with and the Israeli soldiers I met... wow, i can't even describe it, what an amazing trip!
so to sum up this experience:
