Just about everything by this artist creeps me out. The beautiful part about it all is that they are all stained glass. eeurrgh.
I actually stumbled across this when I was conducting a search for the tale of "The Fisherman's Wife" for my research paper on Woolf, and came across this first:

Evidently there is a world of "tentacle porn" out there that stems back to old Japanese lore.
Here is a very stimulating Edo period ukiyo-e woodcut by Hokusai that's dated circa 1820:
