I had an appointment to get my tat started today and to my surprise my brother DIDN'T cancel on me, he's notorious for calling me the day of and saying he has to re-schedule. I don't know how many times that happened with the fairy I got done, but I suppose when they are free one shouldn't complain too much. After having a look at the sketch of the tat on my back, we decided to make it smaller then orignally planned in order to make room for some other details that I will want to eventually add. I'm happy about this decision too, I wasn't too keen on having my ent as large as I thought it was gonna be. So, we got the outlining and most of the shading done and ouch...ouch...ouch. This one hurt more then my fairy did and is placed on some more senisitive areas. I am NOT looking forward to the leaves being done as I got a brief taste of what it will feel like with the outline. Yes, yes the colouring doesn't hurt as much, blah blah blah...I disagree. It hurts no matter what depending on the area that is being done. Some have said the spine hurts, the sides and lower back...I felt more pain on my lower back and the area just below my shoulder blades, to which like I said, only had a brief taste of what's to come. From my previous tat, I knew I was sensitive under my shoulder blades. So, I am babbling, I don't care...Anyways, after this healing is done, hopefully I can get in to see Joe again sooner then I did with my fairy the second time and get this thing done so that I can work on my plans for the ones that are to follow. I know what the next one will be after my ent and that there will be lots of colour but from there I'm at a loss. After my back piece is done, it's on to my arms...and then I'll stop there...maybe!
