Quickie about yesterday
Yes, I just said quickie. Minds out of the gutter, children!
Anyway, last night, at the last minute, I got to go to the home of our local guides, Anne-Marie and Jacques, and eat the dinner some of the other teachers prepared. I met the teachers from the other ISE group that is here, and oh man, are they a fun bunch! The food was incredible. If you like garlic, you'll love Provencal cuisine. Again, my French wasn't nearly up to the level of the others, but I held my own enough to enjoy the evening.
Oh, and I finally learned how to say student-teacher in French. Estagiere. I'm mostly posting that so I remember.
And, today, it's back to Cassis to enjoy a day on the beach with the group I met yesterday!!! Shannon and the other teachers from our group rented a car and are going to do some sight-seeing, and part of me feels like I should have gone with them, but after this week, I don't know when I'll get another chance to have beach time (seeing as how I live in Marquette where 72* is a warm day. Ugh.)
Anyway, it's another perfect and gorgeous day in Provence, and I am off to enjoy it! Amusez-vous bien, mes amis!! :)
