This adult shit is harder than it looks....
Well its official, they are bringing my alleged manager back down to my office, and needless to say I am not a happy camper. I have several issues with this lil scenario:
1. The are setting her up for failure, which I dont have a problem with except for the fact the once again I will be doing the work for 2 people.
2. How is she supposed to be my manger, when she couldnt even do my job, yet I could do hers. This shit is ass backwards and I am not gonna be taking time out my day to hold her freaking hand.
3. The chick is under the illusion that she is running shit, and has the right to give me orders. I promised my boss I would play well with others, but I can see now im gonnna have to check a bitch.
This whole situation is kinda making me re-evaluate a bunch of shit with my job. I love my immediate boss and department as a whole, cause I think they appreciate all the shit I do. The problem with that shit is, im so good at what I do so dont really have room to advance cause my boss aint letting me go nowhere else, plus me and the GM have never seen eye to eye, especially cause my ass pretty much refuses to kiss ass. I didnt see that shit nowhere in my job description.
Option 1: Go to another division in MSE
Would be pretty sweet cause I get to stay in the complex and I like working for the Wild and this in one of the best arenas in the NHL and the fans are awesome, however the aformention issued with the GM might cause some drama. Plus he is a hater when people try to transfer. Either way I have an inside track with one of the other division managers plus it would be closer to what I want to actually do.
Option2: Another team in the Twin cities
Never let it be said that I dont know how to network. The twins would be easy, esp cause they are getting shit ready for the new stadium. The timing is off cause the season has started, so I would prolly get stuck working some random shit or I could wait till sept/oct to make a move. The viking are in pregame so now would be a great time, esp cause one of the managers called me the other day, however I dont really like football some im not really excited about that one.
Option 3: Taking this show on the road
I got offers in Carolina and San Diego, but I really do like the twin cities plus im not really motivated to move right now at all.
Option 4: Getting out of sports in general
Maybe I become a nice admin assistant, or perhaps go back to school. who in the hell knows?
Plus im pissy with my job in general when I think of all the shit i've missed while in hostage mode. Im pretty sure it would happen with any job, but that still doesnt make it any easier.
