NMKAC Meeting-November 2004
Been a while since we posted here. Oh well.
November's meet was not as good as usual, I have to say, although many, many interesting people were there. This is the biggest turnout we have had so far: 17 although 2 left us after an hour due to some appointments. o_O
Lunch was eaten and much communal talk was done, as we got to learn people's names and personalities. Overall an interesting meal, until the bar tender wouldn't give us a bill each...and alas, a big mess was made as we ran up the stairs to get money changed and lost etc. Most members got their money back, except Phil...oh dear! My apologies...^^;
After solving money changing problems, we walked avidly around Northampton town, checking out the sales and industry of Anime and Manga. Unfortunately, we had to split half way into two groups as it was too big a group to walk around! o_O
The all-time famous Pheonix Comix was visited, the home of Northampton's many interesting Manga books and comics. Afterwards, we sat down in a restarant and had tea where we did more communual chatting and whatnot.
Overall, a pleasant meeting, but a lack of quality due to the "disproportionate" planning...we will strive to do better next time!
