What the NMKAC Meeting-October 2004 was like...
Time for my non-formal Livejournal entry! ^^
Vic-San described to her sister that the Collectormania meet was a riot...hmm...not quite inclined to agree there, but it was quite crowded and much fun.
Brady-San, friends and Campbell-San aka the early and organised were there first to arrive. I was late (again! I have lost count of how many meeting I've been late to!) by about 15 minutes. Vic-San turned up later after having a crisis (she's gonna kill me for this!) with the dying her hair, but it turned out quite cool in purple. Short-San appeared and introduced himself to the rest of the party. DeathRose had gone off to look around the convention, while Hill-San and Probert-San got seriously lost, not turning up until 3/4 hour later, poor guys. Brady-San then skipped off with her friends to see the celebs. Campbell-San's friend did not turn up...I hate to think what horrors might happen next when he next meets her...
So after lost and wandering-around-the-convention peeps had all turned up, we wandered, or rather, pushed and killed a few people (by treading on them in a rush to get through) in order to get through the crowds of people, we managed to see the celebs and the stores. Like everyone else, we goggle-eyed the celebs in awe of their brilliance, at the same time, condemning how we did not have £1000 to buy those posters signed by celebs, but hey! Life goes on...
Short-San left us after a bit (and I hope it wasn't because I bored him to death!) and we stood around talking about Anime and Manga and other crazy things.
Hill-San then kindly bought us some drinks from WH Smith! Arigato Goziymas, Hill-San!
Wondered around the game, video and Ottakers shop looking at Anime related items, while talking about Anime and Manga and other crazy things...with some rather disturbing parts (this seems to happen to us at every meeting...why?!).
One by one, we all departed our own ways and went home...hopefully getting a good night's sleep, perhaps ignoring those rather...disturbing...parts...;)
Thanks to everyone who came along! Hope to see you again at the next meeting (Oh jeez! That's ages away! End of November!).
