Went to my "2nd interview" today. It was supposed to be just a formality, to meet the people and ensure compatibility. Noooo... today was the interview. DOH! The phone thing was just a test for non-drooling-moron-ness. Which I suppose would explain why it seemed so trivial. The interview was your typical gangbang, 4 on 1 in a locked conference room. Luckily for me I interview well, at least if I can stay awake. On the down side I've learned more about the job and am a bit wary of it, which kinda sucks because if they offer it I will probably take it, at least for a while.
kytynpet has probably discovered
why there are so few geese around here anymore. I suppose it's better than rounding them up and gassing them, which is also done, but it still seems pretty harsh. I'll have to check out the other lakes around here, but "our" lake seems to have gone from approximately one metric shitload of geese to 2. I can understand wanting to keep the population under control but that seems excessive.
Come to think of it just the other day we saw a goose flying, we presumed, to the relatively hidden lake near here. Maybe there are still some left out there.
