An immodest propsal
Ok, so we all know about clothing swap parties, right?
I think they're great. We all have clothes that just aren't right anymore. Maybe they're too constricting or too loose, maybe they just don't fit quite right or maybe they're not your style anymore. Maybe you don't look as good in lime green as you thought you would. And we all have one or 2 of those "Dear God, what was I thinking?" items lurking around. So, you get a chance to find new homes for these items, ones where they'll be loved and appreciated. And in turn you get to check out other peoples' unloved items, and maybe find a gem or 2 that really works for you.
You know what we need? We need crazy swap parties. You could bring your crazy partners, exes and friends, the ones you wouldn't mind being rid of, and see if someone else wants to take them home like a stray puppy. Maybe you're a neat freak who needs to unload your boyfriend, the one who leaves his dirty socks everywhere, onto someone who thinks that's cute. And in turn you could meet everyone else's not-quite-rights and maybe find someone who really works for you, like that cute grammarnazi guy who drives everyone else nuts by constantly correcting them. Hey, if you can't get sane at least go for "crazy but compatible." It's more fun, actually, and I should know! ;)
