For people who prefer edge pieces I suggested someone could make a pan based on the Hilbert Curve, which would give them lots more edge pieces; geekchick pointed out the less geeky-cool but already existing http://www.bakersedge.com/ pans.
Us middle-lovers are in luck too. geminigirl mentioned that aquariumgirl's husband devised a way to make "edgeless brownies", using a round pan and Magic Bake Strips. Mmmm, middley goodness!
