In case anybody's been under a rock for the last week... Congress is now in the hands of democrats!
YaY!
However, I can only assume that these aren't the kind of democrats who approve of gays getting more rights, or of money being spent on takin' it easy on the environment, or on guaranteeing more abortion rights for more womyn who need abortions or anything like that... Rather, they're the kind that favor raising taxes so they can give themselves pay raises and then make some slight improvements to the quality of schools in distincts that aren't likely to have very many brown people in them.
But that's still education so it still qualifies them as democrats!
