say, i'd like to take a survey... is there anyone reading this who's in a reasonably good mood right now?
because lately it seems like more or less everyone i know -- myself included -- is in a fairly foul mood. and i'm wondering if something BIGGER is going on.

MICHAEL called me yesterday. Michael as in "the guy who tried to rape me" last summer and led to the whole ugly episode that followed. Second time he's called me since said episode. God he's nuts.
Apparently he's got some kind of theory going to the effect that he himself may be Satan, and may at some point in the future be A TREE... And that Jesus Christ is communicating with him through a complex system of TOE PINCHING in order to indicate to him that he's in THE MATRIX and that he's been GIVEN A NEW OPERATING SYSTEM and can now stop his heart by holding his breath for a really long time.
I kid you not. I know someone who thinks these sorts of thoughts.
