Late post, late arrival

Ok, sorry about the late post, but Sarah made it to Washington last night around 8pm CST, 6pm Pacific. The first half of Washington looked more like Arizona or Nevada than Washington, however the second half was very beautiful with cliff side waterfalls winding roads and mountains. They also saw Mt. St. Helens on the way. The rest of the ride was remenisant of the Sally & Mcqueen "just go for a drive" sequence. After getting to Caleigh's the kids went nuts, happy to be out of the car. Caleigh asked Xander if he wanted to see Wall-e that night, to which he replied "no, I want to see it right now!" so immediately, Caleigh, Adam, & Xander went off to the Theater.

Sarah mentioned that it's a bit creepy in a way, how everyone there tries to strike up conversation, wants to be your friend right off the bat. Caleigh said it's just how everyone is over there, even she's still not completely used to it yet.

Piper's diggin the G'pigs, and although is tired, didn't want to go to sleep. We said our good nights arround 10:30 or so CST. They were planning on going to Evergreen Uni, and visit a couple of places today, can't remember where.

So I guess that's it for now.

on a side note, work's getting crazy, A huge error was made by the now former Administrative Director around the 380k mark. The fleet is being dissolved, and operations are being mothballed. Already 4 people have been notified that they will be let go, and there are several others that are on the chopping block currently. My department is being shut down completely, and I am being transfered from PTS Logistics to Progressive Transportation (our founding and sister company)as the Facility & Compliance Manager. Even so, I will then be taking over all responsibility of my entire department(which used to consist of 4 people), as well as all Facility functions, repairs etc. I'm not really looking forward to the transition, it's going to hurt. I really don't want to be at work anymore, I need a vacation. I want to be with my family.
