Wow...
Not alot has been happening.
I have so much to do before the summer is over. I have to finish writing my journals for the Agony and the Ecstasy, then create my sculpture for it (which will take forever). And I have to memorize the show music (Transparency) with three weeks left before summer band. I have to call like a million sectionals before school starts but I won't have time. Ugh, I've got my work cut out for me this year.
I bought some SoftLips (chapstick/sunblock that has muchos of flavor) yesterday. It is awesome.
I still don't have a man. You would think I would be used to it though since it has been about a year now, but I'm not.
So our show music this year is called Transparency because the guy who writes our music has become the official composer for the Santa Clara Vanguard. He kept saying all summer that he would have the music to us by "next week." But he decided that he didn't want to write it for us so we had to use something that he had already composed (which is a total waste of my time because it is so retarded, it just doesn't make since). And we still don't have our drill written because the directors were waiting on the music to come in. Ugh, this is going to be the worst marching season in NMHS history. It was supposed to be a good year because our show was supposed to be Reo (but no) and we have our Orlando trip this year (yay!). But this just puts a dampener on all of it. I hope the drill is callenging because the music isn't. The hardest thing we have to do is count through 5/4 and 6/4 measures in the last movement. And I was so looking forward to playing the clarinet solo in the show, but since the guy decided not to write it I have a ghetto duet with one of the flutes (btw, none of them can play worth crap). Sometimes I wish I had gone to another school. Our show had best be Reo next year.
So, I slept until 3:00 today. It was great, considering that I have been woken up for the past two dys with only 5 hours of sleep each.
So I rented EUROTRIP yesterday and it is so awesome. Scott Mechlowicz is so hott! I would so do him, lol. My favorite scene in the movie was where they went to the nude beach and as they were running you could totally see their butts. Scott's is so nice, lol. I'm weird.
I hope I'm not going to be the only homo in band this year. That would totally suck. You would I speak Gay Gangsta to?
Oh, if anybody knows and could tells me who sings the song "All I Am" I would be so greatful. :-D
Well the GS (Ghetto Superstar) must leave now, but I shall return!
