Three weeks in

I don't think it will come as a surprise to anyone when I say that I have absolutely no desire to teach at a high school level.  I can survive this time around just fine, but I'm going to fight tooth and nail for elementary.  Dealing with adolescents isn't for me.

Outside of school (and marking), our wedding plans are coming along.  Peta and I are also looking at buying a house together, once we have a better idea of what we can afford.  Most likely something small and unimpressive at first, but it's a start.  If we can swing it, we may be able to get a nice condo.

We've got plenty of videogames keeping us busy, too.  Peta just finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and I'm playing through Phoenix Wright: Justice for All.  I'm having an excellent time playing Fire Emblem now and then when I have time, and Peta and I are near the end of both Trauma Centre: New Blood, and Super Mario Galaxy.  And Adalric has lent us Tales of Symphonia, although it hasn't really appealed to me.  Peta's a big fan of it, though.

We had Dragonette and Adalric over last night, and went out for dessert together, stopping along the way to see the lunar eclipse.  I spend so much time either inside at school, or inside at home that I sometimes forget stuff still happens outside.  I took a walk in the sunshine today to remind myself.  I miss being able to walk to school/work, but walking to Brackendale from here just isn't an option.  I'm tired enough as is.
