News and Stuff
So I'm officially addicted to typing on a labtop. God these things rock. Found a decently priced one with good specs. Also very useful for not having to sit in uncomfortable chair in front of my regular computer. Yey for being lazy on the sofa.
My mother is coming tomorrow and we are going to be doing wedding type stuff on Friday. Which reminded me that I forgot to call and make an appointment so ma could see the Orpheum on Friday. Thank heavens the lady was still in her office. Whew. Nearly bit the bullet on that one.
But yeah, so the place has to be cleaned and whatnot. Good news though. I do believe we'll be moving. We meet with our new landlord tomorrow to sign lease and give over money and whatnot. Really wish it'd been today, but ah well. It's nice and big and roomy. And I'll be taking pictures of the place to post up; no worries. Also full address disclosure will be given when the time comes for that sort of thing.
We don't have an exact move date, but I will definitely be moving the smaller, non-essential items over there. Jared has this big plan of "doing everything in one day". I think not. I will be actively recruiting help for this and really the big "moving day" we do have, will be the major appliances and the major furniture. We have a full month to get out of our current apartment, but my goal is to be fully moved in before MAGE. 'Cause being in transition then is going to really suck. Hard. Also need to figure out when to move utilities and the like. Going to make some Qwest person really happy when I call in needing to move my services. If there's a way I can do this by going through one of my friends who works for Qwest, someone let me know how.
Right now I can't really think of anything else. Should start picking up, so I have momentum by the time John gets here.
Mental note to self: Bryan volunteered to help me move, will have to call and take him up on that since all he's doing atm is working at the family farm.
