I'm just thinking of how truely wonderful the last year has been. Not such a silly thing to contemplate this near to the New Year. Thinking of all the firsts, all the celebrations with friends, all the Sunday dinners, all the fun, all the love, all the hope that remains even when life is hard. And now another winter, a few autumn snows have already fallen. I'm looking foward to more snow. For only the second time since I was about seven I'm really enjoying the coming holiday season. After all Christmas last year in Indiana was really nice. It gave me a chance to reflect on what Christmas is really all about.
