When you hear someone to drive only American, think about this, I have cause it was a project I had to do for school comparing 3 American made cars. Toyota and Honda, even though they are a foreign company, all their cars and trucks are made in the US, plus it's cheaper for the Japanese to build here in the US(never thought you'd hear that about the US). The fact that Toyota has about 9 factories in the US, and are expanding on one in WV and building a new one in Texas so they can build more of their Tundra pickup truck. And Honda's first natural gas car was built here in Ohio near Columbus. And how about the American companies? After looking at them(GM, Ford, Daimler-Chrysler), with 100% certainty, the Saturn is the only one built entirely in the US. My dad drives a Ford F-150, and guess where he said it was made, the Great White North, Canada. Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, and whatever else GM has(except Saturn), didn't say where the American companies build the cars. So when you here some American saying only drive American, just think to yourself how American is his car. At least with Toyota and Honda, you are supporting the American worker and keeping jobs here in the US.
