Upcoming Concert announcement
I've mentioned this to several people in person, but I'll make a formal-ish announcement anyway. Festival City Winds (and yours truly) will be performing a joint concert with the Saskatoon Youth Orchestra the evening of Saturday, April 7th at 7:30 pm.
The venue will be the Robert Tegler Student Centre on the Concordia College campus (73 St., south of 112 Ave.)
Tickets are $10 for adults or $8 for Students/Seniors. I can get them for you in advance starting next week, so please let me know if you'd like some!
Among other things, we'll be playing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Dr. Ping-Shan Liao (the Concordia piano instructor) on solo piano.
We had our first rehearsal with her last night, and it's going to be phenomenal!
