(no subject)
this week has been from hell.
3 exams, 4 assignments.
but apparently the angels have been watching over because one of the assignments was postponed almost a week...(and naomi has become religious? oh shit!)
anyway...
the exams are over for now (one more next friday) and i may have passed at least one... which would be a new thing.
bio just isn't my subject - i didnt do too well on todays lab exam. the new material interests me more, i think i can do better on the final.
im meeting more and more people which is always making me happy. i have yet to actually do things w/ these new ppl, or really talk to these new ppl (about something other than school and work) but at least im making contacts and links. (and im thinking in french...)
im trying to do all the right things - eat properly, sleep properly, ...maintain good work ethics and study habits. its hard to stay on top of it all... (oh and keep a good, clean apt, etc etc). im pretty good about the food - when i do it right, they're well balanced, nutritious diets. the sleep is still no good. i think it might have to do w/ the curtains in my room - they block out too much light so i have trouble getting up in the morning - because its too dark. the study habits are perhaps excessive, im working on it - but if i work less ive gotta make sure my grades go up... (and im not sure about that yet.) whatever to everything else.
anyway...things are rough but soon over. my cousin from france is coming this weekend (the older of the two boys for anyone who knows about them or cares). he'll be staying mostly w/ my brother i think, but it'll be nice to have him around :) (he's a math genius, maybe he'll help me do well on my math midterm next week :-p)
so a note on thanksgiving..?
i know for the seniors its your last at home, and for the college kids one of your chances to go home and see everyone ...but just a thought ..?
would anyone like to come to montreal during thanksgiving weekend? its not a holiday here but i think it'll be a decent weekend. its before my heavy finals studying comes in and i dont think id have too many assignments. anwyay, if anyones interested... the offer stands - let me know?
