It's a conundrum.

So. I had a meeting with the guys about the whole Paul situation. To recap; Paul is the cutter who's volunteered to build all the costumes for my show while I bury myself in new motherhood, and he's decided to redesign the show in my absence. The company's in a bind because they can't afford to lose Paul (who'd build the costumes?) and they can't afford to lose me (I own all the equipment, have all the contacts for rentals and have the car). Paul's being incredibly manipulative and unprofessional, and I'm getting increasingly upset.

Here are my options:

a) I can walk, take my machines, and go home to my baby.

Pros: I'm out, I'm done, my name isn't on the piece of crap design.
Cons: The company's fucked, because they don't have any equipment. I look like an asshole. If they manage to work around it, Paul gets design credit and wins.

b) I can walk, leave my machines, and go home to my baby.

Pros: I'm out, I'm done, my name isn't on the piece of crap design.
Cons: The company's fucked, because I am not there to do the rentals, and Paul has no connections in town, no car, and no special deal with North Van Community Players to borrow most of the men's costumes for free because I built them. I don't look like an asshole. If they manage to work around it, Paul gets design credit and wins.

c) I can stay and do the rentals.

Pros: The show goes on.
Cons: I have my name on a piece of crap design I didn't do, and the added stress of dealing with Paul.

d) I fire Paul and do the show myself.

Pros: I get the show I want. I get the credit. The company gets the costumes. Paul gets what he deserves.
Cons: It's a fuck of a lot of work and stress during a time I should be at home with my baby. Jason's offered to help make it work, as much as he can, and the baby's fairly portable at this point, but...
