Conversation in January:
Me: I've just had oral surgery - they took out my wisdom teeth and a chunk of cheek to remove part of a nevus.
Person who shall not be named: YOU BITCH! you're going to be all skinny and beautiful because you'll be starving yourself and drinking soups for a week.
Me: But I'm in pain!
PWSNBN: Yeah but you're going to be skinny. I HATE YOU!
Conversation last week:
Me: I have tonsilitis. I'm fine but I'm contagious so am staying home.
PWSNBN: AAAAARGH you're going to be skinny cos you can't eat anything! I hate you bitch!
Me: You can starve yourself for no good reason if you like, you know.
PWSNBN: Yes I'm going to have soup for dinner.
I'm not going to tell said person that the tonsilitis recurred and I'm back to soups. (By the way can any dentists out there say if the wisdom teeth and nevus procedure had anything to do with the tonsil infection?)
In the meantime, this has amused me very much. Go Hugh Grant!
