Say Goodbye to the Freakshow :(
12 hours ago, I was performing onstage in Rizal Mini Theater with my fellow freaks. Now, it's all over. Freakshow, I will miss you!
I am so frickin' proud of the Newbie 2010-2011 batch! We're all so awesome that we actually pulled this off. I love you guys to death! It's been an amazing journey, and I definitely had fun. Thank you so much for everything! Thank you to the production team, to our awesome directors and heads. This is definitely a highlight of my first year in college; all thanks to you!
The Sunday 3pm show was epic, even if I had a few mistakes (there's no such thing as perfect after all). It's still memorable. I'm proud of myself that I was able to cry during the "Say Goodbye" scene, and "Who will love me as I am?". I seriously didn't expect to cry. I wasn't even thinking about it, but for some reason, when I saw Arya face as I delivered my line, I felt a pang of sadness. It came out of nowhere, and I just suddenly teared up as I walked back to my place. I think it was Arya's energy. Idk. It felt good being able to cry though. Being completely absorbed in the scene was so fulfilling. I loved our last show, and I felt really proud as I saw Toff, Bibo, and Cassie wiping the tears off as they watched us perform Freakshow for the last time.
To those who watched, thank you so much! You're such awesome ones. I hope you enjoyed watching as much as I enjoyed performing.
To those who weren't able to watch, you missed a great show! Lol. Oh well, I hope at some point in life you'll get to witness the story of Daisy and Violet -- because it's REAAALLY AWESOME. Haha!
I really want to continue performing, especially for the big production. I wanted it more when Toff told me to audition, but I can't because of studies. My mom wants me to focus on academics again (and I know I should). I can't wait to watch the big prod in Feb! I wish I could help in any way I can.
