It's been 3 days.
I've been a college freshman for 3 days, lol. I sort of memorize Ateneo's layout already (for the college campus, anyway). It's been really fun!
So for my subjects so far...
FIL 11
Lol, I am dying in the diagnostic tests. I think I'm seriously going to fail, which is kind of sad because a part of me wants to get into Fil 11. PJ told me that my teacher is awesome, so yeah, I think that will be an advantage. Fil 11 please? Oh, today, I was sort of late for class. I seriously panicked. I arrived in Ateneo at exactly 7:30am and ran my way to my classroom in CTC bldg. The prof was there but he was still checking attendance; so I sort of made it?
PE 106 (Table Tennis)
The reason why I took this class is the teacher. My former GIFT basketball coach in St. Paul is also the table tennis coach for Ateneo. Yay, she remembers me! I also found out I'm classmates with Krizia and Carla here. So, another yay! My sched's Tues and Thurs, but it was free cut today since Coach Van wasn't around. The only problem with PE is that I have to quickly make my way from CTC to Cov Courts in a matter of minutes.
MATH 18 (Precalculus)
We haven't had our long tests yet. We'll have them in July; if we pass, we stay on regular track; if failed, we go to the basic track. Hello again to inequalities and proving. Shiz, my brain is so not prepared to comprehend lessons yet. I need more time to adjust. Lol! I need to review factoring and stuff.
CS21a (Computer Science)
I don't have a Nat Sci class, but I do have this. Hello programming! I missed you! The teacher seems nice, but she's sort of intimidating in some way. Today, we discussed Java and DOS, and did this hands-on activity. DOS confuses me, but I got the hang of it. Yay! I think I'm going to like this class. Lol at permanent seating arrangement.
ENG 11
OMG, yes! I don't have Sir Rivera as my prof. I got Ms. Ensomo; at first, I found her kind of weird, but then she turned out okay in the latter part of the class. Idk what to expect from this class though. Lessons would, more or less, start next week already. At first I was feeling nervous going to this class because I didn't have any of my blockmates with me, but then I saw Jirei! We're classmates in ENG and LIT! Yay!
LIT 13
My prof here looks proper and strict. I was stupid enough not to volunteer to become a beadle, so I hope she gets impressed with that information card we passed. Please pick me? Lol. I made new friends! Hello Siopao and Rei. We have homework already for next week, I'm just waiting for our beadle to make a Y!G and inform us of the assignment.
Lol, I think those are my classes for this sem. Oh! There's INTACT, but I'll have my first INTACT class next week. Jogging from CTC to BEL! Gah! I hope we make it to class on time. I do not want to waste my cuts.
In terms of orgs, I'm still thinking about what orgs to join. BlueRep is the dream, but it's too stressful, I might not be able to manage my time well, but I think I'll still audition. PJ told Anina and me that TA is a good choice too, so I might consider auditioning for that as well. Of course, another dream org of mine is CADS, but I don't think I have enough skills. Lol. Glee club is an option, but not a strong one. My mom wants me to join AISEC, and I hope they don't require auditions or interviews. CompSAt is the one! Lol.
I LOVE MY BLOCK! Seriously. They're super fun! I'm sort of feeling guilty thinking that the fun parts of my college school days are the truth or dare sessions with my blockmates.
