leaving here in a few days to fly back to missouri and then drive for three days to l.a.! terrifying in the sense that i don't want to get stranded in the middle of the desert and die because i have no cell phone service or something :P but exciting too! i have absolutely no idea how to get a job out there, but i'll try my best

i have absolutely no idea how to get a job out there, but i'll try my best. and in six months i'll know that feeling too because i might be moving somewhere not as exciting as L.A. but somewhere.

I'm driving out to LA myself next week! Same reason. XD I'm taking the loooong way, though, cross-country road trip.

Hope to hear how your house hunting goes, 'cause I'm gonna have to do that, too. ;) I do have some notion of how to get jobs, so feel free to poing if you're needing help. Craigslist can be a place to start, but the industry really runs on contacts (which I have a few of).

seriously?? that's awesome! if i had time and money i think i'd spend more like 4 or 5 days driving out there haha, alas!

the house hunting should be interesting... me and my roomie are gonna try for a 2 bedroom in the valley, no more than $1600 a month. there are a few around that range, but if they're all a little too ghetto then we'll try for a 1 bed with loft or something :) what area are you looking at?

i do believe it's all about contacts, don't really think there's much on craigslist, i've been looking at entertainmentcareers.net and the like :) what kind of work are you trying to get? i'm hoping for anything production-wise, will probably try to get a job as a pa!
