let me tell you just how amazing this mix is

first of all, unlike every other mix, i haven't rushed it,  there was an earlier version that i actually burned, but i don't like it anymore.  this mix, took time, took the actual discovery of new music to put on it.  alot of the songs are from the x-mas mix taylor made for me, and of course my gay guitar playing females. and a few other surprises. here are the reasons it's so very perfect for right now. let me just tell you:

Ending Junior Year with a Bang Mix:
unwritten - natasha bedingfield - heard many a morning while brushing my teeth in the bathroom, and really inspirational for me
love and memories - o.a.r. - danced in the bathroom to this song w/ caroline additional explanation below
the chain - fleetwood mac - an amazing acapella group did a rendition of this @ the silver chord bowl in february, and now the poofs sing it,
hold on - catie curtis
commander - girlyman
put your slippers on instead - piebald
mad world - gary jules - the one from donnie darko just remembered i liked it
inside of love - nada surf
mass pike - the get up kids
perfect - doria roberts
falling is like this - ani difranco
watermark - the weakerthans
where does the good go - tegan and sara - just discovered them this year, like them
sleepin  in - the postal service
comfortably numb - dar williams
stay dry - the postal service
life goes on - catie curtis
the stranger - o.a.r.
out is through - alanis morissette - just rediscovered my love for her, one of her newer ones
you don't know me (live) - ray charles - reminds of that weekend in february a spent in claytopia making someone a b-day present, they always have music playing and ray was one of the cds, i also sang this song a very long time ago at a jazz music camp

the songs with strike-throughs - are bands i've seen in concert this year - dar williams (with girlyman opening) in november, and o.a.r. in april.  i just literally started listening to o.a.r. right after deciding to go to the concert, and catie curtis yesterday.

the songs in bold - are songs that shanti and i listened to/songs i discovered from her over spring break chicago/michigan/indiana  (the midwest is crazy!)

the underlined songs are from taylor's x-mas mix

the moral of the story is: i love this mix!
