Like most, I was introduced to the Bible and it's stories way before I was introduced to any scientific theory, and like everyone else had a deep desire to know why and how we came to be. Growing up in the 70's, I was inundated with spectacular Charlton Heston movies on TV that illustrated some of the Bible's more note worthy stories, so it is with the Bible that I began.
Although the Bible seems to stunt more erudite pursuits specifically in science and evolution, and has been the cause of more conflicts than Fox news on any given night, it does have merit if taken as a primer, and as you will see some truly unbelievable coincidences as to convince me and hopefully you that there were some real smart cookies way back when.
