Great show tonight at the Komedia. I was sorely disappointed earlier to discover that William Elliott Whitmore was off the bill, as he was my main reason for attending. I forgot all about it though thanks to Nina Nastasia WAY exceeding all my expectations, her backing band The Cape May's enjoyably maudlin opening set and the surprise hilarity and top-notch songsmithery of Jeffrey Lewis. CREEPING BRAIN!
