Honour...
"the last samurai" premiered on hbo tonight around 2 and a half hours ago. as rick would so eloquently put it, "a historical debauchery" but still i did enjoy it. yes, even though it was tom cruise who played the american protagonist. yes, even though just about every samurai knew horribly "bloken engrish." never the less, it was a movie filled with honor, sacrifice, and (if you know little to nothing about samurai in the 1800's), very informative. fans of insane bolt action rifle/sword fight scenes riddled with uber gore musn't miss this movie!
