My godchild

I had to post this picture of my godchild. I can't go even a week without seeing her cute little face. She's six months old now and looks just like her dad!

Something is obviously wrong with you if you don't think she is cute. I think I'm obliged to kick your butt now..
At least she's a happy baby who only cries when she is sick. I bet you weren't the same!! muwahaha And don't tell me I can't use the "you were a kid once too" comeback.. because it's so true, and even though you think you were a disgusting child.. that is all the more reason for you to be nice to children. You should feel their pain! Think of it that way.

children, esp. babies, don't feel that kind of pain.

I have no way of knowing whether you'll get this message, but it's worth a try. I still remember you very fondly, and I fear that we lost touch - no doubt my own fault - at a very important time in your life. I wonder whether you've come through it all right. I would very much like to write you more letters. I can now make time enough for it; I just need people who will read what I send. I owe you so much - in exchange for that CD, and the bracelet, and just how kind and astute you were - and I'm sorry I never really payed up back when we were talking regularly. I'd have undertaken to create an mail something to you already, but I need to know that you are still receiving mail at the address on old envelopes I can dig out, and just that you are still - I truly shudder to say this - alive. I do earnestly hope this finds you well, and that we can catch up on great things that have come in the time that has passed.
