Wayne
My trip is complete. The very last night we were there we saw Wayne walking down the street. Apparently this Mexican restaurant gives him 2 free meals every single day!! I thought that was really nice of them. I guess there really are some kind souls out there.
He lives by the railroad tracks, we saw his place. He just has a little blue tarp set up under a tree which has lost its leaves for the winter. I wonder what keeps him living. He could end his life at any moment if he wanted to. He could walk 10 feet to the railroad tracks and just wait there for the train to come and take him away. You know what I think holds him back? Knowing that people care about him, even if it is only a select few. Isn't it wonderful?
