The Last Broadcast by Doves. Nice and chill. Would be amazing to listen to when one is high as a kite. Always worth a listen!
One Book I own that I think none of you do:
Quantum Mechanics and Experience, by David Z Albert. Even though it was published 15 years ago, this remains the layman's introduction to quantum mechanics, the Measurement Problem, various (unsuccessful) attempts to solve it, and why we care. Seriously, it's sold millions of copies. It's that good. If you've told me you're genuinely interested in QM and you haven't read this, I slap you. (On the upside - if you want to borrow my copy, ask me in about three weeks!)
One Movie I own that I think none of you do:
Quills, about the Marquis de Sade. You've probably seen it. But I own it. Neener neener.
One Place I've been that none of you have:
Face-to-face with two turtles 50 feet underwater in Borneo. Or draped across a juvenile elephant's back in a river in Thailand. Or the professor/graduate lounge on the seventh floor of the Social Science Tower building at UCI, if you want really exotic. Pick one!
One Technological Toy that none of you have:
I am so not baller when it comes to technology. Like... wooo, I've got a camera. OH WAIT I KNOW. About six years ago my mom got me the this projector thing. You can put a photo or piece of paper printed on normal paper (not the transparent stuff) in it and it'll make a slightly blurry projection up to about 6 feet wide. You can totally use it if you want to paint a photo or piece of art on a wall. Ergo, it's utterly useless. And probably broken by now.
Prove me wrong and I'll buy you a drink. Actually, I'll buy us both a couple drinks.
