Wow, haven't updated in nearly a year...
Life has been okay in the last year...not a whole lot exciting to report, I haven't won the lottery or anything like that, so I haven't done anything life changing. C'est la vie. Pretty much in the last year it's all been work and concerts...I think I've lost count of the amount of concerts I've been to since I last posted...a few DC shows, the Script with Ryan Star, Jason Castro, Daughtry w/ Lifehouse, two Bon Jovi shows, the Glee tour, Kris Allen, and my old friends Sheena and Mike made me go to a NKOTB concert, which turned into a Backstreet Boys concert--it was fun. Oh, and this week was the S9 Idol tour, which was better than expected. I'm sure there were a few more shows, but I can't remember. Haven't gotten a chance to go to many Broadway shows lately, not a whole lot exciting onstage nowadays. Plus I'm trying to save some money--I can't believe the amount of money I used to spend on Broadway shows, especially when I used to do two or three shows a weekend!!
Work has been decent, I haven't wanted to kill anyone lately. =) I finally feel appreciated these days, the person I work for practically cries when I'm not there. Only problem is that the boss instituted a really dumb vacation policy which I refuse to adhere to...we can't take individual days anymore, we have to take full weeks...sorry, I have events I go to which only happen once a year, and I refuse to miss out on those because of the vacation policy....if I can't fight it, I'll have to work around it somehow.
Things at home are going well...other than the obnoxious neighbors that I have to keep calling the cops on, everything's pretty normal...I've been able to get away from home as much as possible and not have to worry too much about mom. Last year I was afraid to go away, this year I've been doing it alot....Boston trip, which was great (except for the roosters in Jeremy's yard waking me up on Sunday morning!!), went to Dayton for five days (and it was the best time ever...I wish I could relive every second of it!!!), Wildwood for four days (and of course, I ended up getting deathly ill)...Allentown is coming up soon, and I can't wait for that...
Only issue at home is every time I leave home, my mother keeps adopting pets!! Last year she called me while I was in Wildwood and asked if she could get a ferret. Fine, whatever. End of last year, a neighbor came by and told me that she had a kitten she couldn't keep and my mother said we'd take it. (Oh, really? Could she have asked me?} While in Dayton, mom calls me and tells me this kid went to the store across the street with a kitten he found and wanted to know if anyone wanted it...so of course, mom takes that one, too...so now we have four cats and a ferret--I love them all dearly, but it's a pain in the ass. It's really alot of work taking care of that many, plus with the hot weather, the house has to get cleaned literally five time a day--those little guys are messy as hell!!!
Other than all that, not much else to update...maybe I'll post again in another year!!
