Yeah, I'm a slacker...
Okay, so I haven't updated in months. I'm a total lazy bitch. So, what's been going on? I've been a combination of lazy, busy, tired, sick, you name it, I've been it. Ridiculously busy at work, and it's been frustrating at times. Sometimes it just seems like I'm the only one there who knows what she's doing. Plus it seems like every time I go away on weekends, I end up with some kind of cold, and my boss is getting frustrated with me calling out sick. I can't help it, I have no idea why it happens, it just does. Got a cold in Trumbull. Got a cold after Wildwood...well, actually I ended up with two ear infections after Wildwood, which I'm still suffering from. Doesn't make me pleased.
Other than those basics, the past few months have been either filled with shopping, getting together with people, color guard on occasion, more shopping, sleeping, and the occasional Broadway show. Exciting, isn't it? Hockey season ended up sucking with the Devils...so glad they had an awesome season just for another first round disappointment. But at least the Rangers lost, too. That's one consolation. Went to one DC concert at the Borgata, which was fun, but I'm so not into all the drama and scary people I've experienced while part of this fandom. Really, the obsessive levels of some of these people truly frightens me. Seriously...go see the concert, enjoy the music, gawk over his prettiness, and go home happy. But, that being said, I'm going to two more shows this weekend. But still, I'm not the obsessive type...I've met the guy three times, no need to do so again, unless I can guarantee I look pretty and thin in a picture.
Mom is doing good...she's been getting out on her own the last few months--even went to Atlantic City by herself last month!! While I was in Wildwood, she decided to buy a ferret...whatever makes her happy. The little thing is cute as hell, but also noisy and needy.
All my tv shows are coming to an end this week...Idol turned out to be slightly interesting, although I'm debating whether to go to a tour show...last year I went because I liked nine out of the top 10. This year I like what, three out of the top 10? I don't think I could suffer through the likes of Michael Sarver or Megan Joy...unless someone gives me free tickets, I can't really imagine myself going. SYTYCD starts up this week, which makes me giddy. Now with everything ending, maybe I'll find time to get caught up on some Twilight reading...or dvd watching...or both.
Anyway, nothing much else to write...totally random entry with a bunch of random nothings written in it....
