Why I hate Hamilton in the summer time

So, here I sit, at 2am. Still broiling because of the day's heat. I -really- hate summer. Spring is fine. It's actually NICE then. I have the option of wearing my trenchcoat. My pants aren't limited to shorts. I can wear my regular 'ol cargos or my shorts. And well.. I only wear t-shirts any how. Another thing. The humidity. Hamilton is extremely humid during the summer, a condition that's bad for chain mail. Like that big shirt sitting in the corner of the room which I have no container for. I really need to get one.. >_>

So, what I ask myself is, why not use the A/C that exists? It doesn't cost -that- much to run it for a couple hours to cool the house. This house doesn't suffer from the HORRIBLE heat/cool losses of my last house. That would probably decrease our power consumption because we aren't running fans 24/7. Guess I'll just settle for my giant fan of doom.

Another concern, I need to find my light bed sheets. I'm using the flannel ones I have during the winter. They're soft, they're nice, however they're good at keeping you warm. This is rather counter-productive. I've checked my bin of sheets and discovered that I lack light sheets, so I'll have to go buy some. Peachy.

However, on a plus note, this means I can lounge around and have a good reason for it. It's too hot to move, much less go outside where it's broiling. Another thing, showers. Oh, such showers. Water+long hair = keeping cool for a while until it dries. So, there are some plusses to this entire situation.

At any rate.. It's nap time.
