'Sticky' PNP
I didn't do my fanon due diligence, and relied (gasp!) on my imagination (which is, admittedly, pretty limited) about how robots do sex. So...I have apparently created sticky pnp.
If you are confused as to how I do sticky pnp, (well, not *me* personally!) here is a handy one-paragraph explanation. I will try to make it more obvious/clear in the fics, but this should help you figure out what is, as they say, the dealio.
My bots have both a module and an access port. The module has a long connector cable and hose (half the height of the mech in question). These are located left chest of the bot, roughly where the heart would be in a human--right off the sparkchamber. Proper interfacing is to double connect--modules in both ports. Overload is achieved by rhythmic synchrony--the mech who connects first is the rhythm that is 'in charge'. The port does not respond, though it is sensitive to touch. Its main function is to provide pressure to the end of the node in the module. It is external, like a suction cup. (Not deep, that is). Overload does involve a fluid exchange--in a fic I have yet to post anywhere, actually, this becomes a life saving transfusion. It was set up to be mutual--if a mech is not allowed to plug the module into the access port, he feels excruciating pain. They can also 'self cycle' to circulate the energon before it goes stagnant. This isn't exactly masturbation because it doesn't provide any relief. But it's possible.
