Day at the Market
I have big omg news but I want to make this normal post, first.
Today was a really nice day off.
I slept late in the morning, woke up to sunlight. mmm, sunlight! Then puttered around the house talking to the piglets and working on various things. Then I took the bus up to Broadway for some errands, eventually meeting up with satyrblade at the Pike Place Market.
We got lunch and had a really fun afternoon just wandering around the shops and then walking down to the Sculpture Garden. It was good weather, a bit brisk but sunny and the water looked amazing. We chatted about a whole number of things and generally enjoyed geting to walk around outdoors. :)
After satyrblade had to head off to a meeting I wandered back to Market Spice and bought myself some tea as a Valentine's present to myself. I was going to buy flowers but I didn't particularly want tulips or dried flowers. Soon. Another month or so and I can find cut flowers.
The tea is amazing. I don't like actual tea, I just get herbals. I picked out one called "Evening in Missoula" and has mint, chamomile, licorice and a whole bunch of other things I cannot remember in it. It is very good.
