Well I was cutting bread with a serated, (sp?), bread knife, and I slipped, while trying to cut the bread, with the knife in my hand, cutting my pointer finger on a diagonal instead. Cutting my finger didn't really hurt that bad, (no, I didn't cut a nerve-it started hurting later), just really messy and amusing, (when I put my finger under cold water a little bit of my finger went down the sink).
I was taken to the medical centre, and I just thought my finger was going to be dressed, but no, I had to have stitches, that's when I frieked out because you can stick needles through anywhere but my finger, and my head, it's just that it looks like there is not much skin there.
So after waiting for over an hour I got a local injected in both sides of the lower part of my finger, (the doctor said that if the local didn't work then he would have had to inject it in the higher part of my finger-which I think would have been worse). Then I had to wait another 15 minutes for the local to set in, even though the doctor should have been 5-10 minutes. I got three stitches, and they hurt, especially the second one. The doctor said I had cut it in a very difficult position.
I then had to get a tetanus shot because I hadn't had it when I was supposed to, when I was 14-15yrs old. They hurt I really don't like tetanus shots, my arm fucking hurt, and it still hurts, slightly. Now as of my weakened immune system, I have a bitch of a cold, which sucks, and I just want to get better.
In other news, I am moving in with Jennifer next week, well a little bit over a week, which I am really excited about, but I am too scared to tell my parents, especially dad. I am really close to him, and he gets really emotional-he cried when I graduated. Can anyone give me an idea of how to break it to him? At all. It would be greatly appreciated.
