I like angel art.

I don’t care about the fact that Christian angels don’t have wings according to scripture, I like the idea that there are beings looking after us (whether or not there is, don’t ask me), I just know angels and winged beings have been creeping into my art all over the place. I've been itching to paint an 'urban' angel since I started reading Nalini Singh's Guild hunter series, particularly an angel with wings that weren't white - and no flowy gowns or blonde hair and blue eyes. The name was picked from a list of names I found online somewhere.

Well this was a different angel to the small ACEO I drew and had planed to paint, but I’ve been obsessing over feathers and city buildings for the past two days and I need a break.
