(no subject)
headache: still here. ugh.
ferrets: sat. and CRAZY. FL was worried about tom, because he's really skinny, but she said he seems to be eating okay and he's playful, so just keep an eye on him. "playful" doesn't begin to describe it. i let them out of the cage and went to get a plastic bag from under the sink (plastic grocery bags are the BEST when you're a ferret, apparently -- you can curl up in them and they rustle and if a person kind of rubs their hand on you through the bag you can BITE and KICK at them! very exciting.) um, where was i? oh, getting a bag from under the sink. so as i walked back to the living room i was kind of shaking it open, like you do, and tom started LEAPING at it and got all bushed up and did the war stomp and the wriggle roll. too funny. then finn came up and got in on the action (by this time the bag was on the floor) and they started rolling around and stomping at each other, then tore off to go exploring. god, they're disgustingly cute in a weaselly sort of way.
tonight: gonna see if there are any washers free so i can throw in the one load of laundry i have quarters for. then cook that pasta (that i didn't cook last night because i got distracted by dishes and napping) and maybe even go wild and take some trash out. a couple bags, anyway. tomorrow i have to remember to go to the bank so i can deposit the freelance check and the petsitting check and get some friggin' quarters. i think i'm going to try to be in by 10, 11 at the latest, to make up some time. also so i can leave at 5 instead of 6, which means an extra hour w/ FB. (or at least gives him the option to kick me out a little earlier, since he's got tons of schoolwork to do this weekend.) am waiting to hear back on whether i'm picking up dinner on the way over.
um. off i go, or something. send good headache removal juju my way, if you can spare it.
