(no subject)
despite being fucking exhausted, i couldn't sleep worth a damn last night. i drifted off for a half an hour at some point, only to wake up abruptly and have to get up and pee, and when i got back to bed i couldn't sleep again. i think i got a grand total of four hours, starting around 5:30 or 6. woke up around 10 to FerretLady's call, which i needed to take. i'm sitting them tonight through saturday, and possibly a couple days week after next.
which reminds me, i need to deposit Antiques Lady's check. i didn't have time on the way to work yesterday, and by the time i went to get some lunch, the bank was closed.
i may crawl back into bed for another couple hours, because i'm feeling pretty horrific. and i'd rather go in for the end of the day today, since apparently yesterday at 3:30 one group in Underwriting found out they were moving that afternoon instead of thursday, which is when they THOUGHT they were moving. despite BossMan's reassurances that they've decided on wednesday, i fully expect the same thing to happen today, because they really want to get everybody off our floor so they can start the renovations, and almost everybody IS off our floor after yesterday. so.
my cat is whining at me.
