another update from mom; this one covers buenos aires, montevideo, the falklands, and some photos of the ship. enjoy.
started fighting off a migraine last night, with moderate success. took some klonopin before bed, which at least helped me conk out. i heated up the bed buddy and put it under my neck, and i remember rolling to my other side & repositioning it exactly once, before waking up around 6 and finding it slightly warm (likely just from body heat). conked back out after a trip to the bathroom, so i got a decent night's sleep. still, my head, neck, & shoulders are tight, and my head (especially around the eyes) is hurting. about to hop in the shower and soak up some heat, which should help.
(and so far, both times i've tried to type "heat" it's come out "head" the first go-round. infer what you will.)
i desperately want to stay home and sleep this off today, because even the dim light in my apartment is kinda painful and my eyes just want to be shut. but i HAVE to work a full day today, plus at least an extra half-hour. have to have to have to.
